Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather was born in Portugal and immigrated to the United States.



 From the age of a child, Kelly Nash was a fan of the Miami Marlins. Even though Nash was a fan of sports since a young age, she always believed she would become a journalist. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina) with a bachelor's degree in communication as well as Media Studies. Clemson awarded her a master's degree in Youth Development Leadership.
