Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had a talent in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt and placing among the top two athletes in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix graduated from her high school year in 2003 and signed with Adidas a contract as an athlete in professional competition. In the following year, she attended University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. She broke an Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. Felix became the world's youngest athlete to win the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three throughout her races during the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
